Delete your Sacred Steps account

These instructions are public. You do not need the app or an account session to read them. Sign-in is required only when you choose to make the irreversible deletion request.

What is deleted

After a successful deletion, Sacred Steps immediately removes your sign-in account, personal profile information, and private journey record. This includes your name, email, profile photo, bio, location, check-ins, uploaded photos, reflections, lists, badges, follows, and notification registrations.

What is retained

Church ratings and tips you contributed, plus comments you left on other users’ check-ins, are retained indefinitely unless they are separately removed through moderation. They remain useful to the community but are reassigned to a randomized anonymous handle, with your name, email, photo, bio, location, and sign-in account removed.

Your two deletion paths

  1. 1.In the app: open Settings, choose Delete Account in the Danger Zone, and follow the confirmation steps.
  2. 2.On the web: use the secure form on this page. Your existing email and password establish the Supabase session that authorizes deletion of your account only.

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If paid subscriptions become available later, deleting an account will not automatically cancel a subscription billed by an app store.

Your password creates a normal Sacred Steps session in this browser. It is sent directly to Supabase authentication and is not submitted to a Sacred Steps support or administrator endpoint.
